Blog v Wiki

Blogs and wikis are now commonly found throughout the internet in the new media age. Although these two websites share information, there are very distinct attributes that differentiate the two. When we here wiki, the most popular one that comes to our mind is Wikipedia. All wiki allows for multiple people to contribute and edit one another's work. This is a great system that serves as a check and balance to ensure that the correct information is being distributed to readers. In addition, it allows for the constant update of information on the wiki site.  Reference Blogging, on the other hand, is different in a few ways. New Media's Effect on Dating

In this modern day we are surrounded by new media everywhere, effecting the way we carry out our day to day lives. New media has had a major impact on how people go about dating. With the introduction of online dating applications such as Tinder, Bumble, and Coffee Meets Bagel, consumers easily have a glimpse into thousands of potential dates in the area. The process is also influenced by people's social media, whether it's the person's post, or the way they communicate with each other. My research will go more in depth on communication, dating apps, influence of social media, ghosting, and other aspects of new media in regards to dating.
